Alexis Tipton — well known for voicing characters in anime hits such as Attack on Titan, Dragon Ball Super / Broly, My Hero Academia, One Piece, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Fairy Tail, Tokyo Ghoul and Black Clover — discusses her career, reveals behind-the-scenes stories and answers fan questions at her first 2019 Anime North panel in Toronto.

Alexis Tipton (born August 11th, 1989) is an American stage, film and voice actress affiliated with FUNimation Entertainment who has voiced English-language versions of Japanese anime films and television series since 2008 and can be heard in over 250 titles thus far. She is also particularly known for voicing Mizuki Himeji in “Baka and Test: Summon the Beasts,” Inori Yuzuriha and Mana Ouma in “Guilty Crown,” Julia Crichton in “Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos,” Emi Kizaki in “Linebarrels of Iron,” Anya Hepburn in “Soul Eater NOT!,” Moka Akashiya in “Rosario + Vampire,” Saya Kisaragi in “Blood-C” and “The Last Dark,” Kurumi Tokisaki in “Date A Live,” Sun Seto in “My Bride is a Mermaid,” Musubi in “Sekirei,” Millianna in “Fairy Tail.” Some of Tipton’s other notable anime credits include Sakura Quest, Kancolle, Escaflowne, Ace Attorney, Show by Rock!, Prison School, Puzzle and Dragons X, Space Dandy, Keijo!!!!!!!!, ReLIFE, Noragami, Haganai and Ga-Rei: Zero.

Her voice can also be heard in numerous video games including “NeiR: Automata” as Pascal, “Tales of Zestiria” as Alisha, “Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia/FE Heroes” as Clair, “Fire Emblem Warriors/FE Heroes” as Lucina, “Lord of Magna: Maiden Heaven” as Beatrix and “Sarine,” “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” and “Dragon Ball FighterZ” as both Gotenks and Kid Trunks, the Mad Nurse Demon and The Forsaken Empress in “DreadEye VR” and more. Tipton has also contributed to various foreign live action film dubs, most notably as Kaoru Kamiya in the live action “Rurouni Kenshin” trilogy. As an ADR director for FUNimation, Alexis directed shows such as Masamune’s Revenge, World End, Restaurant to Another World, Conception and more. She also provided vocals for various character songs and a few of FUNimation’s trailers. Tipton is also a stage and film actress.
