“Supergirl” is a television series based on the DC Comics character ‘Supergirl.’ It is executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Ali Adler and Sarah Schechter. It began airing on CBS on October 26th, 2015 and moved to The CW for season 2 where it’s been ever since. Supergirl is a costumed superheroine who is Superman’s cousin and one of the last surviving Kryptonians. The series is the third series set in the so-called “Arrowverse” — sharing continuity with the other television series of the franchise.
