Denise Crosby — best known for portraying ‘Security Chief Tasha Yar’ and her half-Romulan daughter ‘Commander Sela’ in “Star Trek: The Next Generation” (1987-1994) — reminisces about his career, shares behind-the-scenes stories and answers Trek fan questions at her 2016 Hamilton Comic Con Q&A panel.

Denise Michelle Crosby (born November 24th, 1957) is an American actress and model also known for her non-Trek work, including starring in feature films like “48 Hours” (1982), “Pet Sematary” (1989), “Dolly Dearest” (1991), “Trekkies” (1997) and “Deep Impact” (1998) and her recurring roles in “The New Adventures of Superman” (1994-1995), “Mad Men” (2008), “Southland” (2009-2010), “Ray Donovan” (2013-2017) and “The Walking Dead” (2014). More recently, she has guest starred on such shows as “How to Get Away with Murder” (2019) and “NCIS Los Angeles (2019).

“Star Trek: The Next Generation” (also referred to as TNG and ST:TNG) is an American science fiction television series created by Gene Roddenberry. It originally aired from September 28th, 1987 to May 23rd, 1994 on syndication, spanning 178 episodes over the course of seven seasons. The third series in the Star Trek franchise, it is the second sequel to “Star Trek: The Original Series” (1966-1969). Set in the 24th century, when Earth is part of a United Federation of Planets, it follows the adventures of a Starfleet starship, the USS Enterprise-D, in its exploration of the Milky Way galaxy.
