Former Doctor Who Star Peter Capaldi Teases His Bald Role in Upcoming James Gunn “Suicide Squad” Film at Fan Expo Canada 2019

At his 2019 Fan Expo Canada Q&A panel, former “Doctor Who” star Peter Capaldi coyly responds to a fan question about his shaved head, causing many to speculate he may have been cast as ‘Mr. Freeze’ or ‘Psimon’ in James Gunn’s “The Suicide Squad” quasi-sequel to David Ayer’s 2016 film:

Peter Dougan Capaldi (born April 14th 1958) is also well known for portraying ‘Malcolm Tucker’ the spin doctor in “The Thick of It” (2005-2012) for which he has received four British Academy Television Award nominations, winning Best Male Comedy Performance in 2010. When he reprised the role of Tucker in the feature film “In the Loop” (2005-2012), Capaldi was honoured with several film critics award nominations for Best Supporting Actor. As a director, he won an Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film and the BAFTA Award for Best Short Film for his short film “Franz Kafka’s It’s a Wonderful Life” (1993). Capaldi went on to write and direct the drama film “Strictly Sinatra” (2001) and directed two series of the sitcom “Getting On” (2009-2010).
